On December 6, 2025, CPD Patrol Officers were dispatched to the 2600 block of Osceola Ave on the report of a shooting. Upon arrival, they located the victim suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. He was pronounced deceased at scene by CFD. The victim has been identified as Jaylun Gallagher, age 27. The circumstances surrounding this murder are under investigation by Homicide Detectives.

On 12/23/25 at approximately 10:11PM an unknown suspect entered through a cracked door on the east side of the Ohio Theatre (55 E. State St.). The door was left partially open due to patrons that left the theatre after a show that night. The Suspect can be seen walking around the theatre before finding a purse and tote bag sitting behind a deck in the rear of the theatre. The Suspect dumped out the contents and stole two credit cards, a pair of prescription glasses and cash.

On September 7, 2023 at 10:36AM, the Victim, Eric Sankey, was discovered unresponsive, suffering from an apparent gunshot wound, in the 600 block of E. Everett Ave. CFD EMS 16 responded and pronounced the victim deceased at 10:47AM. At this time the circumstances that lead up to this is still unknown.
